On the bus riding by my childhood home, and, the new additions to the neighborhood just made my mind race with what ifs. I wonder how my life would be different right now if...

1. I never got exposed to video games. Who would I be right now in that case? Video games have had the unexpected consequence of keeping me from smoking, as well as, away from hard drugs. I have an addictive personality and this was definitely The least of evils. Thabk you dad for putting that controller in my hand so long ago.

2. My parents hadn't been the best bad examples someone could have. By the time I had been born my parents were swlling and consuming drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and many other illicit substances for years. After my brother was born they called it quits and got a divorce. My father got custody of us and both parents eventually got off the drugs. They constantly told us that drugs and cigarettes are the stupidest things they could have gotten into and to look at them as examples of the validity of the claim. Thank you guys for making all of those mistakes so that I didn't have to.

3. I hadn't had a stable home environment.
My father did so much for my brother and I just trying to keep a roof over head. Thanks dad once again.

Mass Effect Sucks

Well, I never thought I'd write this, but, another franchise falls to the clutches of Electronic Arts. I loved the first Mass Effect, and I was truly hyped for Mass Effect 2. I lost everything in a move around the same time as Mass effect 3, so, I had to wait for Trilogy to play three, so I did it the only way that makes sense, I've been marathoning the Mass Effect franchise. One is still the buggy mess with bad checkpointing that I love. The game play is RPG and the action portion is more strategy then you'd believe. Mass Effect 2 is where the series starts the down turn. For the sake of this post I'm going to do it a disservice and compare it to Alpha Protocol. Before I'm crucified for doing so, let's get the comparative scores out of the way, Graphics: ME2-8, AP-6.5, Sound: ME2-9, AP- 7, Story: ME2-9 AP-8, Gameplay: ME2-8 AP-8. The Sad State of Affairs

(I know I update infrequently, but this is necessary to say. I posted it on twitlonger, but thought it might get more traction on this platform.) #Oregonunderattack is the stupidest movement I've seen in a long time. There are much better reasons for anti government sentiment then two jackoffs who were poaching then decided to make that look like a controlled burn who are just getting the sentence that was reccomended in the first fucking place. Like the case of Tamir Rice who was killed by an officer who was mentally unstable, and, allowed back into the fold of police work. If people had occupied over the case where a child with a toy gun, where the 911 operator said it was probably a toy gun, where the officer SHOT TO KILL ON ARRIVAL, and was still NOT CHARGED. I'd be sympathetic toward the people in the movement. The people who are doing it now are Armed TERRORISTS, and deserve to be treated as such, but, we all know there is a bias to the US police force.
