Well, I don't follow baseball. I hardly watch the world series. Being a kid in the 90s though i know 3 things, the Yankees are rich assholes that buy the best players from EVERYONE else, the Giants are the better of the bay area teams, and, The Mets and Royals are bottom of the barrel teams. So why do i find the Mets and Royals in the world series together, that'd be like seeing the clippers and the hornets in the NBA finals, or Jacksonville vs Cleveland in the Superbowl. Are we in bizarro world? I was shocked last hear when i saw the royals vs the giants, i thought it was a fluke. It was a trend. I kinda hope it continues. I would live to see a Cubs Phillies series soon. I'm kidding, that'll never happen.

Well, it seems I'm becoming a bit of a reviewer. Not a good one, but, this will do for now. The title states the game I'm commenting on, and, if you haven't an idea of what it is, then let me break it down for you. Chaos Legion is a Hack and Slash Action game made by Capcom. It's based on a Book series in Japan, that was never, and probably WILL never be brought over here. This Playstation 2 title was greatly overshadowed by it's big brother series Devil May Cry, and, let's get this out of the way right away. Chaos Legion and DMC are different, but, based on a similar core. I believe Capcom did a very big disservice to Chaos Legion by comparing it to DMC at all. On the back of the box there's a little blurb stating "If you love DMC then you'll love Chaos Legion." from PSM Magazine, this was a bad way to package this game, as the gameplay is more like Drakengard then DMC, but the level system is where the depth of the game comes from. It has literally just come to my attention that a huge member of my childhood, though, not often credited, has passed. I, as many know, play games. I'm a huge gamer. I started with atari and moved to nintendo then to genesis, playstation, etc. Yesterday we lost Satoru Iwata, the man behind Nintendo. His games and systems did help me through many tough times and helped shape who I am. Goodbye Mr. Iwata. Though I never knew you, I feel as though a part of my family has been lost.

Well, I never thought I'd write this, but, another franchise falls to the clutches of Electronic Arts. I loved the first Mass Effect, and I was truly hyped for Mass Effect 2. I lost everything in a move around the same time as Mass effect 3, so, I had to wait for Trilogy to play three, so I did it the only way that makes sense, I've been marathoning the Mass Effect franchise. One is still the buggy mess with bad checkpointing that I love. The game play is RPG and the action portion is more strategy then you'd believe. Mass Effect 2 is where the series starts the down turn. For the sake of this post I'm going to do it a disservice and compare it to Alpha Protocol. Before I'm crucified for doing so, let's get the comparative scores out of the way, Graphics: ME2-8, AP-6.5, Sound: ME2-9, AP- 7, Story: ME2-9 AP-8, Gameplay: ME2-8 AP-8. Well, here we are again, and, this time I have a question for anyone who has been to an establishment with WiFi for Customer convenience. Let me preface this with, I haven't played DOTA or DOTA 2. I have played Warcraft 3, so, I understand the mechanics, and, can see the inspiration for heroes in DOTA 2's universe. On the bus riding by my childhood home, and, the new additions to the neighborhood just made my mind race with what ifs. I wonder how my life would be different right now if... 1. I never got exposed to video games. Who would I be right now in that case? Video games have had the unexpected consequence of keeping me from smoking, as well as, away from hard drugs.
